Our friend Jordan came to visit for about 10 days in August and we had a blast! Unfortunately Nick had to work most of the weekdays but Jordan and I did lots of touristy stuff with and without him. We had a bit of a heat wave while he was visiting and so we spent the first day on the beach enjoying the 85 degrees!We did the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. 
We did the Aquarium and ate some wonderful seafood (Jordan was the only guest we've had that actually wanted seafood with me). We even kayaked the caves of La Jolla over the weekend!
We managed to take in a Padres game before he left and cheered them to a victory against the Diamondbacks. It was great to have him and we do hope he comes back just as soon as we can find some more new restaurants to visit!
