Murder Mystery

Last Saturday, Nick and I attended (hosted actually) a dinner party (murder mystery to be exact) with some friends at the Castle of Baron Castaign. We were invited there under the solemn circumstances that wolves had been hunting recently in the forest surrounding Shufflemoore Manor and we, as the towns people, had to meet to decide what to do about them. These unfortunate circumstances seemed to bring the entire village together for a meal but due to stormy weather, we were all forced to spend the night in the castle until the storm passed.
The Baron (Tyler Ferguson - and yes he even had spats) was gracious enough to take us all in for the night. His sister, Constance, (Lauren Kramer) as well as his staff made up of; Edgar, the grounds keeper (Brad Kramer), Winston, the butler (Jordan Miller), and Luella, the maid (Melissa Blackford) took very good care of their guests. The townspeople present consisted of Mr. Mitchell Miller, the farmer (Dylan Weaver), and his wife, Suzannah (Tonya Martin), and Desmond, the wood cutter (Andy Wetzel). There were a few travelling gypsies in town as well that were seeking shelter from the storm. Esmarelda (Sarina Wetzel), her brother Curtis (Ryan Frank), and his wife Maven (Chelsea). We were lucky that a huntress was also traveling through and offered up her services in tracking the wolves. Tatyana (Scott Barber) was very skilled with the shot gun. Nick and I were also welcomed as the host and hostess (he was the "host with the most" - a priest administering communion - and I was a hostess cupcake). We had a great time. Regardless of the murdering, back stabbing, and secret keeping, we all made it through the night with a lot of laughs. (silly me forgot to take a group picture so please excuse these cropped snap shots)
